Use at least 3 practicum hours to observe the classroom and at least 1 practicum hour to discuss with the classroom teacher your observations. In your observations, take note of how the child development theories are implemented and how the children respond. Discuss with the classroom teacher what has been done to implement child development theories.

Create a Venn diagram or other graphic organizer to compare the similarities and differences of the child development and learning theories of Erikson, Maslow, Piaget, Vygotsky, Skinner, and Bandura. Be creative and include examples.

In 250-500-words, include the following:

1. Summary of your observations, including the age group, how the development theories were implemented, and how the children responded. Do not include any identifying information about the children.
2. Summary of your discussion with the classroom teacher about what has been done to implement child development theories.
3. How what you learned from your observations and discussion with the classroom teacher will affect your future classroom? Give details.

Topic materials may be used as resources.

Submit the graphic organizer and paper as one submission to the instructor.

GCU style is not required for the graphic organizer, but solid academic writing is expected.

Prepare the summary and analysis according to the guidelines found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
