In the last decade, the presumed association between cannabis use and the risk of psychosis in vulnerable individuals (Arendt et al., 2005; Dragt et al., 2012; Large et al., 2011; Martinotti et al., 2012; Moore et al., 2007; Van Os et al., 2002) has been a major issue in the medical literature, because of its potential negative health impact.
