In this assignment, you will choose an organization to profile. Conduct an investigation to characterize and analyze the organization’s supply chain. Pay close attention to the link to the organization’s strategy, its structure, and current performance of the supply chain, and the patterns of change over time. The submission process is divided into three steps:

A 3–4 paragraph summary which summarized the organization. The instructor and class can comment on your proposal in the discussion forum or provide suggestions for you to consider.

You should hand in a write‐up 6–10 pages that describes the supply chain, analyzes performance, identifies the key issues, compares the supply chain to others in the same or other industries, and recommends strategic considerations or tactics for improvement. The report must be neat, clean, and simple. The more detail and concise your report, the better your grade will be. Do not exceed 10 pages and do not fall under 6 pages.

   1. Appearance: double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, free of typographical errors.
   1. Paragraphs should be indented and no longer than 4 sentences.
   1. Meets APA compliance standards. Properly formatted citations are a must!
   1. Should contain only the following pages:
      1. cover page with course name, your name, college name, professor name, and submission date (1 page)
      1. abstract (1 page)
      1. body of the paper (6–10 pages)
      1. reference page (1 page).

Prepare an 8-10 slide presentation that summarizes your project. Post in the Supply Chain Management Project Presentation discussion forum. The material presented in the class should reflect your final report.

Quality of Sources

• Are the sources relatively recent?
• Is there a variety of sources?

Writing Style

• Is the paper well organized?
• Is the paper free from grammar & spelling errors?
• Are there smooth transitions between sections?
• Is the manuscript clean/legible/pleasing to read?

Paper Guidelines

Does the paper follow the margin, font, and page specification found in the paper guidelines?

Presentation Grading Criteria

Organization

• Does the presentation follow a clear and logical flow of information?
