What are you doing to overcome the specified challenge? ? What is your overall impression about your role within the organization? ? If you could change any aspect of your role, what would that be? 5 ? How do you incorporate evidence-based practice or research findings in your role? ? Do you think you are contributing to nursing profession? If so, ? how do you think you are contributing? ? What are your thoughts on advancing the nursing discipline? ? What are your career plans for the next 5 to 10 years? Section D: Additional Questions. Ask the following relevant questions appropriate for the advanced practice nurse you are interviewing if he/she is willing to answer them please do not overwhelm the NP; an example is to let them tell you how much they enjoy their career, would they highly recommend it and why.
