As expected, in the American Society, a prominent actor of Johnny Depp’s Stature is supposed to mostly play characters that are related to his race and not those of the minority groups. Therefore, Johnny Depp playing in the Lone Ranger as Tonto became a controversial topic that did not sit well with most people especially those from the Native American community. These sentiments were understandable given the fact that a considerable percentage of American pop and entertainment culture have been quite miserable in presenting premium depictions of the Native Americans in most creations.
