Your paper topic is rooted in the assigned readings for this seminar, and you are asked to go deeper into an aspect that interests you. Because the paper has a limited word count, you need to be concise and clear about your points. Yet, as a scholarly essay you also need to back them up with quotes from the texts you chose to work with, and provide full captions for images you use. There are two hand-ins for this assignment:

1. Paper Outline

Think about how you can use images to advance your argument. For example, by placing them throughout the text near each relevant point. They can be images or your own analytical drawings, with captions long enough to explain the value of the image to advance the point.
