Romantic Comedy Film
The plot of a romantic comedy is that two characters meet, separate due to an argument but finally they will end up together. The two will finally meet and confront the problems to their union. However, the screenwriters often leave clues that suggest that the two are indeed attracted to each other and that they will make a nice couple (Solomon 2008).
This is a 1955 American comedy film based on a three-act play with the same name. An incident occurs where a tomato plant crashes into his lounge chair, and a woman upstairs apologizes but then he invites her for a drink. The conversation began between the two on a drink, and he lies about him being married. When she sees the ring, he tries to hide, but she is not even concerned having no interest in him. Many experiences transpire in the film, and every part is so intriguing since every character is a fascinating mess of conflicting characteristics. Richard constantly dreams of his beautiful upstairs neighbor (In Candido et al., 2010).
